Mammoth Peak in Black and White

Mammoth Peak in Black and White

I posted the color version yesterday on my blog and some of the landscape photography forums. A few people suggested that I convert the color image to a black and white. So here it is!

As a side-note. I wasn’t happy with the near-noon conditions of this image. On Monday, Tioga Pass was closed due to a spring winter storm. The park re-opened it this morning. My wife gave me the green light to go back to Yosemite, so I guess I’m going to re-visit this location Wednesday morning…
