I wanted to revisit the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) and this time I went for sunrise. Got up a bit earlier than I needed to because the gate was closed until 30 minutes before sunrise. Thankfully the automatic gate worked and I drove in at 5:30 am.
I got distracted by a River Otter swimming and I missed the actual sunrise.
I managed to capture a few images after I “shot” the River Otter.
