Took a 4-day car camping trip to Lone Pine CA to visit a friend. Really didn’t plan on focusing my trip around photography, but I did set out in the evening to see what I could capture. On this evening, we took a drive up to the Whitney Portal and stopped part way up at one of the overlook spots and captured this.

Nice shot Mike like the moon showing in the horizon. The company I worked for used to be one of the few common carriers that delivered to Lone Pine and we had a special all wheel drive tractor made up for the winter hauls.
