Yosemite Valley by Moonlight

As I was leaving Glacier Point Friday evening, the moon finally cleared the clouds. I stopped at Washburn Point to have dinner, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and just enjoyed the view. I thought I’d try and get some night time shots of Yosemite Valley by moonlight.

I also stopped at Valley View (Gates of the Valley) and at first I didn’t even take my tripod or camera. I just walked around and looked. I figured since I had time, and more importantly, if I just left without taking any pictures….I’d be kicking myself for the rest of the evening! So here’s what I got…
