My Favorite Photos from 2015
It’s that time of year where I try to pick my favorite pictures from 2015. Just like last year, it wasn’t a stellar year, photography-wise. Always hope that 2016 will be a better year, photography-wise. So in the order that I took them (more or less), I present you my favorite 10 pictures of 2015.

Tunnel View in the Morning
My first stop at 2:30 in the morning was Tunnel View. After I made my rounds, I drove back up to Tunnel View to see what I could capture in the morning light.

Gates of the Valley

Bridalveil Falls from Tunnel View
Another image from my recent trip to Yosemite. This is Bridalveil Falls from Tunnel View around sunset.

More Nighttime Shots
I spent some time around Yosemite Valley photographing different locations while the near full-moon was visible. I captured Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls and Cathedral Rocks from the Merced River.

White and Green Trees
While I was photographing El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls and Cathedral Rocks along the Merced River, I spotted some trees. I liked the white and green colors along with the red-ish bark.

Half Dome from Mirror Lake
Walking around a frozen Mirror Lake gives you a different perspective of Half Dome.

Tunnel View
I had planned on spending the evening around the Merced River, but there was a lot of kids playing in the snow and the fact that visibility was getting worse. Drove up to Tunnel View (again) and spent the rest of the day…until my batteries went dead. Thankfully I was pretty much done shooting.
