I had to go to Stanford on Thursday for my yearly check-up. Since I’ve been itching to go out and do some landscape photography, I thought I’d get up early and visit the Great Valley Grasslands State Park. I admit it isn’t one of those “WOW” places that I would make time and visit, especially this time of the year, but I drive right past it on my way, so why not.
I got there around 5:40am and walked a short distance and set up for where I thought the sun would rise. As it got closer to sunrise, I realized that the sunrise would be a bit further to the right of me, so I walked down the bank and set up by the river.
