A Cyprus Tree on a Rock

On Saturday morning 22 people piled into 4 cars for a day at Point Lobos State Reserve. It was our church’s youth group day, so photography wasn’t the top priority. We got there around 9:30, and we had reservations in Monterey at 1pm for lunch. That gave us about 2.5 hours. Not a lot of time for me to scout locations. I took a short walk on the “Sand Hill Trail. I carried my tripod and camera equipment, but didn’t take any photos. The only photo I took was this taken right in front of our van.

We came back to the cars at noon and drove into Monterey for lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. I don’t mind fish, but I decided on a hamburger. Looks like my two kids had the same thing…LOL!

We had planned on spending some time in Monterey or the beach, but traffic was insane, so after walking Cannery Row, we left around 3:30.
