Morning Light on Cathedral Rocks

Drove up to the Yosemite to do two things, capture Cathedral Rocks in the morning light and capture the rising moon. I had clouds for most of the day but glad to see some light this morning before the clouds obscured the valley.

I’m always amazed at how still the waters are in your photos, Mike. Around here everything seems to move, or have ripples from bugs & fish.

Thanks UW! Usually early morning is pretty calm. When I drove by in the afternoon, the wind had picked up and the water had ripples. Had my fair share of mosquitoes there too.
