Moon Rising Over Red Peak

It’s Moon time again. Most of the time the best time to photograph the full moon and also see some of the landscape details is to go the day before or the morning after the full moon. This month it fell on a Sunday. Decided to take the family as well, so after church we headed up to Yosemite. Spent some time in Mariposa before heading up. Once in the Valley we walked around a bit and got up to Washburn Point about 5 minutes before “show time”. A bit too close for me, but it all worked out.
