No Pictures
Yep, no pictures this time. I’ve been “busy” re-designing my backpacking/hiking website, The Backcountry. I really like the new design and I sparked a ‘bug’ to tweak my nature photography site, and father’s website, Single Stick Stuff. I’m also learning all about RSS Feeds and iPod’s, so I recently added a RSS feed to my…

Tuolumne Meadows Panoramic View
Still processing my pictures from Wednesday’s adventure. While I was there I decided to try and take a panoramic photo. I don’t own a Panoramic Head, so my pano has some parallax. So be it, it’s still kind of cool! This is 6 pictures, in portrait format and stitched together by hand using CS2. Full…

They told me everything was great and unless I just wanted to go back…just to update the family….I’m now free and clear. After nearly 4 years of countless appointments/hospitalizations, I’m done! I’ve…

A Hummingbird?
Not sure what kind of Hummingbird this is. 😉 I was sitting down drinking my coffee this morning and I saw this Orange-crowned Warbler trying to use my hummingbird feeder. Lucky for my, my camera was near. I also shot this through the sliding glass window. I didn’t want to risk opening the window and…

Random Pictures from the Merced NWR
Took another trip out to the Merced NWR on Wednesday afternoon. The water is receding, but there’s still lots of shorebirds to see.

Yosemite Valley from Denair, CA
Who knew?!? I didn’t think it was possible to see Yosemite Valley from the central valley, but I was wrong…first time for everything 😉 ! Thanks to Tony Immoos (and others) I finally got a decent picture of Yosemite Valley (Half Dome, Clouds Rest etc) from Hall Road in Denair California, over 60 miles away.…
