Moon Over the Merced Theatre

I was planning on going into Merced to try and capture the rising moon over the Merced Theatre but it looked cloudy so I stayed home. I took a look outside when it was time and I saw a perfect conditions. Oh well. Knowing that the moon would rise about a few minutes before sunset on Tuesday I might be able to try it again or wait until April when the moon would align to the theater. It would be dark, but I knew the theater would have lights on the tower and sign so it may be interesting. I left the house about 6:45pm and got there around 7pm. I scouted the place last week and found a spot, but I decided to take another look. I ended up in the place I had planned on at waited. Had a couple people ask what I was shooting. I did have one laday ask me if I was shooting the moon. Apparently she had done the same thing a few years ago. Anyway here it is…
