Lunar Eclipse December 21, 2010

Lunar Eclipse and Winter Solstice

It has been raining and cloudy for the past week, so I didn’t think I’d have a chance to photograph the latest Lunar Eclipse. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even charge the camera battery. As it got closer to the big event, I poked my head outside and what do you know….the clouds were moving away! I threw a quick charge on the battery, about 15 minutes, and went outside. I stayed out for about 30 minutes and took about 12 pictures and here’s one of them.

I was wondering if you sell the photo of the lunar eclipse that was in Guidepost magazine. It’s the one that was done via time lapsed photography…My son missed the latest lunar eclipse–he was really looking forward to it, but it was cloudy and rained. He doesn’t get interested in much since he has depression, so I wanted to see if I can buy a poster of your picture to put up in his bedroom (if it’s not too expensive). Nonetheless, your photo was gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I loved the article, too! Thanks a lot.
