After a brief stop to photograph Siesta Lake by moonlight, I arrived at Tioga Pass around 5am. The temperature was around 30 degrees that morning, and I was glad I dressed for it…well except for wearing shorts!
Three weeks ago I photographed a small seasonal pond, Mammoth Peak Reflections, in this area. This morning the water was almost gone, so I walked a bit more and found a few more, larger ponds and set up.
Couldn’t decide which one was my favorite, so I included the ones I liked. If you have a favorite, I’d like to know!
